About CDL Test Prep

CDL Test Prep is a free study site for the US driver’s permit test and the CDL knowledge tests. It is run by the Novanest ATLAS team at Novanest ATLAS, a small independent web publisher based in Morocco.

Why we built it

Many practice test sites hide answers behind sign-ups, mix questions from different states, or never say where an answer comes from. We wanted the opposite: free practice that you can check yourself. Every answer comes with a short explanation and the section of the official manual it is based on, so you learn the manual, not a list of memorized questions.

What we are not

We are not a government website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any DMV, state licensing agency or the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). Our questions are not the real test questions, which are not public. See our disclaimer.

How we keep it accurate

Questions are written only from official manuals, each with a manual reference and an exact quote that a script checks automatically. Our editorial policy explains every step, including human review and how we fix errors.

How the site is funded

The site is free to use. It may show advertising from Google AdSense on study pages, never inside a question. Advertisers have no influence on our content. Details are in our privacy policy.
